The majority of our skills are developed by trying things out, by learning by doing. Coaching enables managers to help employees develop through carefully chosen work experiences.  This workshop develops the skill of coaching so that you can maximise the learning and development your employees get from daily working life. Our coaching process moves through a number of stages, highlights include:

  • Understanding the hopes and aspirations of those being managed, 
  • Choosing the right tasks to give , so that development is actively planned
  • Extracting learning by supporting staff through their activities.  This is the core of  the day, where we spend time seeing it done well and done badly, and then practicing it ourselves 

This session will provide you with proven tools, techniques and tips and give you the opportunity to practice, get feedback, discuss your issues and develop practical solutions.
