Stress Management: The Well-Being Instinct™

Be more resilient and productive, boost your energy and avoid health issues by learning personalised and practical approaches to managing stress

Life and work are getting ever more hectic.  Mobile technologies encourage us to be always connected, always ‘on’.  We know that managing stress is key to staying healthy, productive and maintaining good relationships.  Our observation is that many stress management courses, books, etc. fail to make a long term impact as they do not address you as an individual.

Our approach enables you to develop an understanding of your own situation, personality and preferences.  This will leave you with practical and personalised approaches that will help to manage your stress.  We will focus upon three areas:

  • What's going on? We will explain what is happening in the mind and body when stressed
  • What are my triggers? You will build self awareness so you can determine when good pressure can turn into bad stress
  • What can I do? We will introduce a variety of mind and body related approaches for busy people, allowing you to select ones that are likely to work best for you

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the survival instinct and how it leas to good pressure and bad stress
  • Understand the role of both body and mind in dealing with stress
  • Build self awareness on the personal triggers that create stress
  • Recognise the symptoms of stress and when to seek medical help
  • Explore mind and body related approaches and tools to break the stress cycle
  • Access a range of resources that will help after the course
